When bad weather closes the airport, free-spirited Jules Bloom finds herself stuck with the admittedly hot but total suit Dexter Elliott. One night and one large pitcher of “Vegas Sunrise” later, Jules wakes up in a hotel bed with a vicious hangover…wearing nothing but a wedding ring.

Determined not to ruin his brother’s wedding, Dexter strikes a deal with the frustratingly gorgeous Jules to continue their quickie marriage through the weekend. Only she keeps getting under his skin in unexpected ways.

Jules has her own reasons for staying married to Dex but they seem less important with each exaggerated touch and staged kiss. But one marriage, one major secret, and two complete opposites don’t add up to a happily ever after…

Review
When I first read the blurb for Wife for the Weekend, I knew I wanted to read it. A drunken wedding that neither Jules nor Dexter can remember as well as a wedding night that should have been unforgettable based on the evidence. This book drew me in from the beginning.
Jules and Dexter are complete opposites. Jules is a free spirited artist who loves to go barefoot while Dexter is a workaholic who always wears a suit. Neither of them are ready to lose their independence especially not on a sham marriage. Of course, they develop feelings for each other that were probably there all along.
I was rooting for them to make it as a couple the whole time. Jules kept assuming that Dexter was always going to be a womanizer. I don’t blame her though because typically people don’t change. Dexter didn’t believe that Jules could have feelings for him so he tried to smother his feelings for her. There were times when I got agitated at them both.
Overall, this is an excellent read. I would definitely recommend it.
