The matchmaker meets her match…in one very persistent tycoon!

Secretive matchmaker to the rich and famous, Lydia Whitney prefers to stay behind the scenes. But after one mistake, rich resort developer Ian McNeill is hot on her trail, and he’s more attractive—and persistent—than ever before.

Ian can’t believe it when he figures out who’s messing with his family: a woman who has deceived—and seduced—him before. What’s her agenda? And why can’t he resist her? He’ll get the answers to all his questions, if Lydia agrees to his convenient marriage proposal. But once she’s in his arms again, will he let her go?

The Magnate’s Marriage Merger is the second book in the McNeill Magnates series. It’s a second chance romance about Ian and Lydia. Lydia is a matchmaker with a secret identity. Ian is shocked to find out his ex is the one who caused his family problems. When he finds out the truth, he suggests a marriage of convenience and Lydia accepts to prevent a scandal. But after they are married, things heat up. Feelings are rekindled and what was a sham marriage doesn’t feel so fake anymore.
I really enjoyed this book. It is a great continuation of this series. The characters are well developed and enjoyed seeing their romance rekindled. Joanne Rock has a way with words and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
