The Boss’s Baby Bargain

When resort developer Cameron McNeill goes undercover to root out problems at his prizedvisland property, his first discovery is the irresistible concierge, Maresa Delphine. Her business smarts are vital to his mission. But the struggling single mom could help with his personal mission, too: fulfilling the marriage terms of his grandfather’s will.
Maresa is overwhelmed caring for her infant niece and tending to the demands of the resort’s sexy mystery guest. When he reveals himself as the owner, she’s thrown for a loop. But when he proposes…can she resist his brand of trouble in paradise?
His Accidental Heir is the third book in the McNeill Magnates series. I will admit the trope of magnates being forced to marry to maintain their legacy is overdone but when it is done well, it is an excellent one, as is done here.
Cameron is my favorite McNeill brother. He keeps his demons well hidden and when he falls for Maresa and her baby niece Isla, I was cheering him on. His antics as a very demanding guest were over the top but he was undercover and what better way to tell how your hotel staff is doing?
Maresa is such a strong woman. She is not only a single parent caring for her niece, she also takes care of her brother and her mother. That’s enough to stress anybody out! On top of that she is the concierge who has to deal with the most demanding guests. I really liked her and her strength.
I thought this was a great read. The pace is a little slow at times but overall this is one I’d recommend.
Rating: 4 stars
